Make sure you are ready for your new family member.

Attend an adoption event, visit kitties in residence at one of our business partners, or call the shelter to schedule a meeting with a foster kitty or shelter resident.
Read the CLAWS adoption policies
Fill out an application for review and approval.
Pay the adoption fee of $200-$300 for kittens under 1 year or $175 for over one year.

Why is there an adoption fee?
Our adoption fees don’t come close to covering all the costs of caring for the homeless cats that come to us each year. The adoption fees help offset the cost of getting a cat ready for adoption and are much lower than it would cost to obtain them from a veterinarian independently. Generous donations make up the difference and allow us to continue providing vital services and second chances
All of the Cats and Kittens come with the following:
Spayed / Neutered ($50 - $300 value)
Microchipped with registration ($25 - $75 value)
Up-to-date vaccinations ($15 - $75 valus)
Tested for Feline Lukemia and FIV ($20 - $40 value)
